Find replace using wild cards

Post by migindya » Thu Apr 08, 2010 11:01 am

I am a newbie to this lovely software, and I am NOT a techie.
I have the following data in column A and B of excel:
Kraft Cheese
Oscar Awards
Fresh Harris Orchids
Samsung TC 100

My need is to remove Kraft, Oscar, Harris and Samsung from the following in excel column A to make it look like this
Cheese
Awards
Fresh Orchids
TC 100

Then, in column B of excel, I need to replace everything other than Kraft, Oscar, Harris and Samsung. So it should look like this:
Kraft
Oscar
Harris
Samsung

How can I achieve this in batch mode? My excel file contains 5,000 such records with about 3,000 different records (rest 2,000 are duplicates)
