Items with Serial Numbers (Serialized Items)

In Abacre Restaurant Point of Saleyou may use items with serial numbers. In fact you may use it even with expiration dates and times.

Step-by-step instructions about setup of items with expiration dates:

  1. Go to menu Configuration Item.
  2. Create an item.
  3. Go to Inventory tab.
  4. Check the options: Is Inventory Item, Is Sales Item, Serialized.
  5. Now add items to stock: Go to menu Purchasing - Receiving Vouchers.
  6. Create new Receiving Voucher by pressing New button.
  7. Press Add button to add item with serial number.
  8. You will see popup window asking to enter serial number.
  9. Press Close button to finally close Receiving Voucher and add item to stock.
  10. Now go to New Order button.
  11. Add item with serial number to order.
  12. You will see popup window asking to enter serial number.

That's all.
