How to print alternative name on bills/receipts?

Abacre Point of Sale allows to use alternative name for each item.

For example, you may use Aame field for English name of item
and you may use Alternative Name for field for name of item on your local language.

One of the common use of this alternative name feature: you may print bills/receipts in English and print kitchen/bar notifications in your local language because your cooking staff may not know English.

If you want to print alternative name on bill/receipt printer:

1. Go to menu Configuration – Bill Configuration – Parameters.
2. Check Show Alternative Name option.
3. Press OK.
4. Restart the program.

If you want to print alternative name on notification (kitchen/bar) printers:

1. Go to menu Configuration – Notification Printers – Click on a printer.
2. Press Options button.
3. Go to Parameters tab.
4. Check Show Alternative Name option.
5. Press OK.
6. Restart the program.
