Items with Expiration Dates

In Abacre Inventory Management and Controlyou may use items with expiration dates. In fact you may use it even with expiration dates and times.

Step-by-step instructions about setup of items with expiration dates:

  1. Go to menu Configuration Item.
  2. Create an item.
  3. Go to Inventory tab.
  4. Check the options: Is Inventory Item, Is Sales Item, Has Expiration Date.
  5. Now add items to stock: Go to menu Purchasing - Receiving Vouchers.
  6. Create new Receiving Voucher by pressing New button.
  7. Press Add button to add item with expiration date.
  8. You will see popup window asking to enter expiration date and time (if needed).
  9. Press Close button to finally close Receiving Voucher and add item to stock.
  10. Now go to New Order button.
  11. Add item with expiration date to order.
  12. You will see popup window asking to enter expiration date and time (if needed).
