We are a user of IPowerWeb as a host. Depending on when you signed up for the service your log file may be stored and managed in odd ways. For example, at one point, without telling us, they switched us to a mode that randomly wiped the log file and started fresh. This created gaps in record for ALA. Our solution was to contact technical support and get them to put the log file in a fixed place in our site and leave the management to us. With our web traffic we clear the log file every couple of months using FTP software. Otherwise, ALA downloads the file nicely, and automatically once a day.
