empty reports.ini / ala stops working after initial run

Post by jclark@clarkdataservices. »

I'm running ALA 1.5 on W2K Server. If I reboot the server, run ALA from the Windows UI everything runs fine. At some point while trying to run the command line option using the /all switch, the reports.ini is blown away all my output is produced without any reports.

Anyone have a clue to what is going on?

Hi,

I need more information. I tested ALA with the following command
line:
ALA.exe -analyze:all

But it works fine. I mean that reports are produced carefully.
What do you mean about reports.ini file "blown away"?
When ALA started in command line is Reports tab empty or not?
I mean are reports loaded or not?

There is one trick: when ALA is started with command line parameters
it produces report files into needed destination folder.
But ALA does not navigate its browser (Results tab) to reports
index.htm page. It was made in order to speedup work of ALA when
working with command line parameters.
Kind regards,

(Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I only have a little time to dedicate to this) .....

What I mean by the "reports blown away" is the reports.ini file is completely empty. When the output is generated it is like no reports are selected.
