deleted orders

is it possible to know if an order has been deleted, because when deleted it affects sales report and thus causes dishonesty. can it be seen from the database or somewhere else.

Right now Delete Order button physically delete order from database.
The same for Delete Item button (it deletes item from database).
So you cannot see reports on deleted items or orders.

But we are working now on new features: Void Item and Void Order buttons.
So you will be able to see the reports about deleted items or orders then.

Right now it's not a good idea to give rights to anyone to delete orders or items.
Usually you should go to menu Configuration - Preferences - Order Buttons or Item Buttons
and you should either uncheck "Show Delete Order/Item" options
or you should check the options "Only admins can delete orders/items".
In this case your staff should use Refund Item button instead of Delete Item button.

There is also a need to add cancell order button so that a open order can be cancelled when needed, and orders need to be able to be returned and not just voided, so that it is reflected in the inventory.
