If I install Abacre Restaurant Point of Sale on my laptop and later transfer the settings to the restaurant, can I then at any time import and view data on my laptop if staff email me the backup files? Do I need one or two licenses for that?

There are different situations:

1. Your staff may generate needed reports and then save these reports as PDF or Microsoft Word files. Then they may send it by email to you. In this case you don't need a second license.

2. When you want to use ARPOS on your computer, your staff may send you database files and configuration files. In this case you need the second license. (BTW when you purchase two licenses at the same time you have a volume discount).

3. The third (and probably the best) you computer should be connected to Internet and your restaurant's computer is also connected to Internet. In this case you can view reports and real-time restaurant's data. You also need the second license in this case. Because ARPOS is installed on your laptop computer. I think most of our clients use the third (this) variant.

Dear Roman

I like the third option. How do I do that?

I tried to transfer the software to a different computer. I deactivated on the first one as the second comeputer told me so. Now the result is that the second computer will not acept the registry and neither can I reactivate on the first computer, so I can't use the software on any of them. What do I do about that?

I think the best solution for me is 2 licenses, but I can't find clear instructions of how to get real data on both. Can you link me to some instructions on that?
