Need upgrade

Post by fusion.tech »

I just bought Abacre Restaurant Point of Sale Software Lite version, and I was wondering how I could upgrade it to the standar version.

I also need some support installing my cash drawer, I already install the OPOS drivers for my printer an Epson TM880IV and configurated them (the cash drawer it's coneccted directly to the printer) using the OPOS 2.50v and all the service packs, everything seems to be correct but the problem is when I send the order to open the cash drawer it does open it, but I think the port keeps busy and the printer mark that it's not available after that, so I can't print.

We will send you upgrade instruction to your private email. In fact the upgrade price will be the difference between Standard and Lite licenses.

How to open cash drawer:
On Bill Configuration - Cash Drawer and Pole
press Details button for cash drawer.
You will see 3 connection methods.
As far as your cash drawer connected to printer and you use OPOS drivers
the best way is to use OPOS drivers to open the cash drawer
the second way is to one Direct Connection to Printer method. But in this case you have to find out command which you should send to cash drawer.

Try to setup OPOS driver for "Select Cash Drawer connection method" field.
Then you may need to restart ARPOS.

The command syntax is incorrect. The right syntax is:
0D;0A;1B;70;30;40;50

Try also the following command:
1B;70;00;19;FF

Usually the right command you should find in cash drawer's manual/reference.
Sometimes you can setup a cash drawer to work with any command (any pulse).
