searching subfolders - what depth?

Post by lbell »

I am using Find for C:\inetpub\wwwroot, with the subfolders box ticked, but it does not find in the files in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\subfolder1\subfolder2\subfolder3\subfolder4 unless I search in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\subfolder1\subfolder2\subfolder3\subfolder4 itself. How can this be put right?

Further information - it will search subfolders, BUT NOT those which contain a file called desktop.ini (even if that file is removed).

Maybe this desktop.ini file blocks AFR. But it's not the case if you remove the file.

Please send to support@abacre.com your default.cfg located in installation folder
and couple of files located in subfolders c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\subfolder1\subfolder2\subfolder3\subfolder4

Try to also to switch off IIS during the search. Maybe IIS blocks the files?
