Resetting a Site

Post by ferg »

Hello.

I want to reset a particular site and re-analyze all of the log files.
There doesn't seem to be anyway to do this in the software - each time I click "Analyze", it doesn't appear to actually be doing any analysis.

I have tried it with both incremental analysis on and off to no real avail.

Any ideas?

The problem seems to be that my site is not registering any downloads.
I'm looking specifically to see what mp3s have been downloaded from my site. I changed the downlods per day report to look for the mp3 extension, but I still show nothing even though I know there should be (as I have downloaded them myself).

Hi,

First of all "incremental analysis" should be off while you
setup the program for needed report. (then you may remove cache files
and finally turn "incremental analysis" ON).

What do you mean? Do you have records about MP3 files in your log
files? Normally in log files there are records for all requested
files.
Please send us your log file or it's fragment.
Normally you should add filters like:
file_ext equals .mp3 to your reports.
Or you may create new reports like "Most requested MP3 files" and so
on.
