Help with getting POS working

I purchased your software the beginning of last year (2007) and have had a very difficult time getting it working. I am hoping for some very detailed step-by-step instructions on how to get this system working. I am NOT a computer expert, I do not have an IT department, it is just me with a basic knowledge of computers. What is on your website has not been helpful to me as of yet.

The oprating system is Windows XP; this is the hardware:

1. Partnertech POS PT4000II

2. Cash Drawer- M-S Model EP125KL

3. Printers- Epson THH6000II Model M147C

4. Rear Display- attached to the customer side of the Partnertech system- CD7220

Again I am looking for some detailed help. I have tried your suggestions from last year and I have not made any headway. I apologize for my ignorance but this just isn't my area of expertise.

Being that it is a used POS sytem would it be a good idea to erase everything (except operating system?) and start over? If so please give me some direction here also.

I appreciate your timely response and look forward to having a POS system that works. Thanks.

Yet another email I sent 4/15 with no response (yeah I know I must be the impatient type):

I will try this again (3rd attempt at receiving support). If there is no help available please let me know so I can try elsewhere. So once again…

I see there is recent activity here, any possibility of help with my ongoing questions?

Yet another attempt at receiving any help. Absolutely no response whatsoever so far. I emailed support yet again today (5/11)- 4th attempt! I see Roman has responded to other inquiries on the forum, so someone is around.

Once again, would someone please respond!

Still nothing. Unbelievable. Anyone that would like my opinion before purchasing this software just ask.
