Version 2.4.0.871 to 2.6

Hi,
We purchased Abacre Restaurant Point of Sale Version 2.4.0.871 (Professional) from EBAY. Can you let us know how to upgrade it to the latest version. Do we need to purchase new license to upgrade to the current version 2.6 or can we make it with the existing key.
