Hi, how can i do a refund in a closed order?. Imagine the following scenario: a customer placed an order but for whatever reason they want to return it and we have to refund that order, How can you do a refund on a closed order? the only thing i am able to do is reprint the receipt. I know about the option under Configuration->Preferences->Order->prints bill after close orders.

You should create a new order.
Then you should add the same items as in the closed order.
You should press Refund Item on each item in this new order.
Then you should select order # of the closed order.
After that you may close this order using Close Order button.
It will be recorded as refund order.
So you will have in database two orders: original order and refund order.
In future versions we will add Refund Order button to automate this process.

Hi, I like your explanation on how to refund(although the way of going about it, is the long route) However what if you have the "Menu Item modifier" active for that particular order. I was trying to do a refund with the entire amount however is still deductiong the amount that I placed on the "Item Modifier" do you have a work around for that, until abacre does an update?
