There are some problems when I test Abacre Restaurant Point of Sale (POS).
1.There are only two db files existing: arpos.mdb and arpos-test.mdb. My questions:a.why it is locked? Can I open it?;b.How can I create a new DB for my customer?
2. How can I add new catergory for menu? Because when I enter " menu item categories" then I click "add", I can not add new catergories.some errors message always occur.

In fact arpos-test.mdb is a sample database. And arpos.mdb is an empty database.
So to create a new DB create a copy of arpos.mdb and rename it into appropriate name, for example, customer1.mdb or arpos-customer1.mdb

Yes. You should go t Menu Item Categories. There you should use Add button. If you see any error please send screenshots of error messages to support@abacre.com. It's better if you would also send us your database and configuration files.
