I have just tried abacre restaurant POS for a few days and I am willing to continue with it but I have a question:
I need to create an excel sheet that will get some info (the sales of a given department day by day) from the database every month, to generate what I have to give to the revenue department every moth and that I am now doing by hand... is that possible?
If yes, how do I create the link between excel and the database?

You can use, for example, Sales by Category (department) report for given period of time.
Then when you see the report you may use Export button and export this report into Excel.

Well... no, it's not, because I need to make one different bill every month, following certain standards of presentation so if I can create a link between excel and the database it would be perfect, with a few macro I think I can have it doing all the job alone, but if I have to generate day by day a report for all my departments and then insert it in the correct template... it will really be quicker to continue by hand (what I don't want to).
