One of my customers has a restaurant and I willing to purchase your software to him. But, Does your software support ARABIC language?

Thank you,

Arabic language is not currently supported because it requires Unicode strings. And ARPOS cannot handle right now Unicode strings. As soon as we implement the Unicode in ARPOS this language will be supported. We are planning to implement such support in May-July terms.

We will try to release Unicode-enabled version at the end of September or in October 2007.

The more realistic term for Unicode version: Feb-March 2008.

In fact ARPOS is written in Borland Delphi.
Current version of Delphi does not natively support Unicode.
Borland will release Unicode enabled version of Delphi at the beginning of 2008.
Now we can use some work around solutions. But we prefer to wait until
Borland will release Unicode-enabled version of Delphi. Otherwise we
will have to rewrite the software twice (current version into
work-around Unicode version and then work-around Unicode version into
native Unicode version using Borland Delphi 2008).

I think we are pretty close to finish Arabic integration.

We will try to finish it next week.
