Does not work like a cash register

I have the latest version and I have a problem that there does not seem to be a fix for. How can it be a POS if it does not show the amount tendered? I mean because of the order of steps the bill has to be printed to open the drawer and then close the order to take money. Anyone know why this would be this way?

In Bill Configuration, you can set the cash drawer to open before printing the bill. And under Preferences -> Order, you can tick "Make Close Order after Print Bill" - Hope this helps

It is that the reciept does not show how much the customer paid. Example: the order total is 19.95 and I gave you a 20.00 bill that information is not on the reciept. Now you can go sit eat and come back and tell my employee you gave me a fifty.
