Error Msg "Configuration file damaged.Reinstall the software

I emailed the problem to the support email, but you asked me who bought it, and when & the registration code. We bought the existing business 2 years ago, they were in business 2 years too. So the software I’m using is old, the version is 2.4, recently my computer doesn’t boot, so I copy the abacre folder down in case we can’t access again, but when I try it on different computer, it gives me abovce msg. How can I fix this problem? I try to contact the previous owner but no response at all.
