Hi.
I'm trying to print bills to my cash register from PC. I know that Abacre Restaurant uses 3 alternative methods:
* OPOS drivers (OPOS drivers are supported by all major hardware producers: IBM,EPSON, SAMSUNG and Star Micronics and others).
* Windows drivers.
* Sending direct commands via COM ports
I asked for technical support to my cash register vendor (DAISY MICRO cash register). He told me that I should make a configuration in which POS device driver (already installed) communicate with Abacre Restaurant Point of Sale through a .txt file. I have to say that I can print from POS device driver but I can't print from Abacre (so the cable connection is ok). I tried the first 2 methods but it didn't worked. So I think the only way to print is sending direct commands via COM ports to cash register. I use Windows XP professional and in Printer and Faxes folder there is no printer icon.
Thank you for your help !

Do you use OPOS or Windows drivers to work with printer?

Did you asked vendor of the cash drawer which command should be send to the cash drawer to open it?
