Serious DB error

My DB file in unreadable. I'm getting this error when I try to open the .mdb file directly. I cannot open it in Abacre.

The Database cannot be opened because the VBA project contained in it cannot be read. The database can be opened only if the VBA project is first deleted. Deleting the VBA project removes all code from modules, forms and reports. You should backup your database before attempting to open the database and delete the VBA project.

There are no VBA projects inside database (no modules, no reports).
So as advised you can try to delete VBA projects in order to open finally database.
Or try to restore your database from backup.

I googled the problem and realised that this is a common problem when a .mdb file of Access 2003 is opened with Access 2007. I'll try to delete whatever VBA there is in there.

In current version we are using drivers of Access 2003 because most customers still use it.

So if you already opened the database file with Access 2007 and if you don't have backup copy of file then the solution can be the following:

Open database file with Access 2007 then try to use main menu Tools - Database Utilities - Convert Database - To Access 2002-2003 File Format.
There a exact menu command for Access 2003. In Access 2007 there are similar command.

Finally, with Access 2007 you will be able to convert your database back into Access 2002-2003 File Format.
