Inventory not updating

Hi there, I am trying the software , prior to buying it. The inventory is NOT updated , no matter what type of item I choose. I've closed the order, I even closed the day, but nothing.
Running the software on a laptop running Vista Biz.
Any reason for it ?

This is a normal behavior. Because you need to setup initial quantities for items. You should do it by using Purchasing - Receive Voucher.
Then inventory will be updated after each close order (as one of the cases). Later you can see it on Inventory reports or in menu Inventory - Physical Inventory.
