Even though I mark the "Case sensitive" and/or the "Whole word only" boxes, the software returns results which mistakenly include both small-case and upper-case and/or whole-word and partial-string occurrences. Can anybody help?

The software is very reliable. I think there is some misuse here. For example, you can specify these options on Replace tab and then try to find using Find tab (operation).
