Search & Replace within single column in Excel

I need to append a filename extension to cells in a single column of Excel.
Example: LNAN240 is orginal text. Result I want is LNAN240.jpg
Column has from 50 to 14,000 cells with each cell being unique.
I want to know if I can do this before I purchase.
