Am using this exceptionally good product AFR in a CVS environment. How can I get Find and the Batch replace features to ignore hidden files and folders?

It's not possible right now. But we already added it into our To-Do list by your request. We will develop new option: Search in hidden files and folders.

You can do that with new version 4.1. In this version we developed the following options:
Search In Hidden Files and Search In Hidden Folders.

you don't mention that (all) these features are under Options .. and are therefore profile-centric

many of these options should be on main Find and Replace screens eg Folder Masks should obviously be displayed together with Fiel Masks so they can be chnaged on te fly

PS and your Help is ridiculous out of date
