Access violation V6

Post by bairrg » Thu Jan 20, 2011 12:43 pm

I had a trial version of advanced find and replace. Puchased a full version, our IS department unistalled the trail version and installed the download sent to us and installed the key, now I recieve the following message
"Access violation at adress 00FB021A. Read of address 00000004"
I have tried to uninstall then reinstall and am unable to register the software again and still get the same error code. Now I'm dead in the water and am no longer able to use the software.
Any suggestions?

Most probably you purchased the previous major version. You are trying to apply reg key of previous version to the latest version 6.

Then most probably you mistyped the registration key. We will send you detailed instructions by email.

SAME Issue here.

I'm attempting to re-install Advanced Search & Replace and seeing the following error:
""Access violation at address 00FB021A. Read of address 00000004"

My license was purchased on 01/23/2009
Advanced Find and Replace (12038-1)

-- I still have my original license key, but how do I register it?
-- Is my key not compatible?

Thanks for the assist.

Jim

Jim, you are trying new version 6.0 and you are applying reg key of version 5.
You can still download and use version 5 with your registration key.

Hi,

We are having the same problem. We purchased 3 licenses for V6 and then downloaded the latest software. The errors are:

Access violation at address 00FB021A. Read of address 00000004
" is not a valid integer value
Access violation at address 004897B3 in module 'AFR.exe'. Read of address 00000328
Access violation at address 005C44EE in module 'AFR.exe'. Read of address 00000004

We have 3 licenses which were installed in 3 PCs and they all have the same errors.

Instead of typing registration key you should use copy/paste command. Send your request to support@abacre.com with your license information.

I actually did a copy-paste. The software is being registered however when restarted the registered software the errors are appearing and I cannot do any search and replace.
