Can't replace in trail version

Using trial version. Using the test1.txt file I can find \n and there are 20 occurrences. When I try to replace \n with eg: xx nothing happens and the bottom window of the replace screen is blank. Choosing type=native or regular doesn't make a difference. Using type=native and searching for vist and replacing with xx does work.

Thanks.

Go to menu Action - Save Configuration As.

Send your configuration file to support@abacre.com

Note: Find, Replace, Batch Replace are 3 independent operations.

email sent. It seems the problem is I can't check a "regular expression" box like I can in Find or Batch Replace. If I use a single line in Batch Replace it seems to work OK.

Using regular expressions is only possible in Find and Batch Replace tab.
You cannot use regular expressions on Replace tab in current version of the program.

So on Find tab you have to use:
menu Help - Options - Find.
check the option "Use regular expressions"

and for Batch Replace you should simply check "Use regular expressions" option on main window in Batch Replace tab.
