Depending on your answers and most probably: you need to use "Cyclic
Replace From File" action located in Replace operation.

Hi,

Can you send couple (at least) of these files to support@abacre.com
and Search For text.
Send also your configuration file (default.cfg)

Did you read command line parameters topic?
http://www.abacre.com/afr/manual/commandline.htm

So try this:
C:\Progra~1\Advanc~1\afr -config C:\Progra~1\Advanc~1\file1.cfg -execute:replace -exit -min

C:\Progra~1\Advanc~1\afr -config C:\Progra~1\Advanc~1\file2.cfg -execute:replace -exit -min

Does it work?

Re: Command Line: multiple runs of AFR

The AFR program works fine through the command line. The error was mine: I was using the long filenames ( -config c:\program files\advanced find and replace\file1.cfg) When you asked the question I thought about this variant. The truth is that you can use long file names: just double quote them! Fo...

Re: How to Analyze Many *Daily* Log Files

I tried running a .bat file with 31 commands, each like this: ala.exe -analyze:SiteName "-logpath=C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Documents\SiteName\Logs\ex041211.log" but it doesn't seem to work. Is my command line incorrect? If so, how would I do this. No, it is not correct. You should use -...

Re: Filters Question...

So, my question is: Is there a way to skip_line for every IP address that visited secureapp1.asp and actually skip them completely -- skipping every page they visited? If I could do that, then I could see my brochureware traffic, which is what I'm trying to look at. Do you want to filter such visit...

Ok. It's clear. Next week we will develop visitors filters working on sites level. We have to review the code to see if it's possible. Because currently site filters work one step before report filters. But probably we may add such filters anyway.

As I already explained if you Incremental Analysis is OFF then you may use your solution: type dir1/ex041201.log > big041201.log type dir2/ex041201.log >> big041201.log type dir3/ex041201.log >> big041201.log OR you may simply put the following text into the Log Path field: dir1/ex041201.log;dir2/ex...

Hi, This is too easy task for AFR Go to Batch Replace tab. Check ON "Use regular expressions" Put search/replace pair: Search for: SR:SC20050BOX\r\nPR:3120(\d{3}) Replace with: SR:SC20050$1\r\nPR:3120$1 That's all. In this example we supposed that line delimiters are \r\n (usually used in Windows) a...

Yes, it's an issue. We will correct it next week.

Again in batch replace you may use the following code: Search for: PR: Replace with: TR:8112091748300773400030\r\nHR:8112091748300773400030\r\nSR:SC20050BOX\r\nPR: (regular expressions should be activated) OR you may try Replace operation with Insert Before command. Hi Marc, In fact it's the "trickiest" or "weakest" part of regular expressions. AFR uses a classical regular expressions syntax. So operation OR is not possible with classical r.e. You may do OR for chars (use [] ) but not for strings. What we think: we probably will modify (upgrade) classical r.e. ...

Re: ...hmmm

Hi, I have tried including --> -_tobay*.* <-- in both masks (preceeded by a ; ) and in Search-Query (preceeded by a space and with "search in filename" selected). Normally it should work for Mask field. I will try to test it on sample data. As for folders, do you know that there is "Ignore folders" ...
